TJC outlines expectations for resuming surveys, with warning on EC

The Joint Commission (TJC) issued several statements about resuming surveys that were suspended at the beginning of the COVID-19 patient surge in March.

Just like other agencies during this fast-moving response to the coronavirus, much of the guidance continues to be updated. Check TJC’s coronavirus resource page frequently for changes or new additions.

Most recently, TJC expanded on a position statement about how to prevent COVID-19 infections from spreading within your facility as you resume non-emergent or routine care.
